I wanted to create a custom login page without using a plugin for WordPress. I set out to examine the login page CSS. Once I knew I could modify the CSS coding to display what I want and where I want it was easy to do.

The coding was very simple to do. In theory, I needed to remove the WordPress logo and replace it with my own logo. Next, I needed to remove the register and go back button. Since I’m the only one right now login to the website. I needed to change the background of the page and the login form and style the button.

All this was very simple to do while using a plugin called Code Snippet. You can find the plugin in the repository of WordPress. The link is in the wording. I highly recommend using Code Snippet over just using the additional CSS in the theme customizer.
